Be The Engineer is a social enterprise that seeks to champion for inclusion , equity and diversity in STEM with our main focus being women, girls and young children.
We believe that STEM is for everyone and anyone if they want to can be in STEM. We do this through our three pillars, (3Es) of Educate, Equip and Empower.
We are centered around a passion of making STEM known to all children in Kenya at an early age and we work with various primary and high schools in Kenya.
We encourage evolution and showcase the opportunities available in the vast STEM field.
The world is struggling to address climate change, global health crisis, concerns on privacy , artificial intelligence and many others. Of equal importance is where we are and what we can do in terms of girls and women participation and involvement in STEM. When we have fewer women taking up STEM careers, it means most of the technologies that could improve the above world solutions are predominantly designed by men resulting in less diversity in thinking.
Take part in our program by supporting our events to schools to mentor and plant trees.
Support a child to go through all the mentorship programs and all the followups.
We are committed to educating, equipping and empowering young girls and women in primary schools and secondary schools to embrace STEM and also have the knowledge of what they need to get their dream STEM carriers.
We are committed to connecting those in colleges and universities with STEM networks through workshops and events.
Help us fund the project and reach more school across the country. We have challenges getting to remote schools and even supporting them with materials for coding and robotics.
Get the latest inspiring story from the schools and communities we have reach and touched there lives.
